Lingering Feeling

The tension between Bianca and Jake had been brewing for weeks. It started with lingering glances in the break room, the way their hands brushed when they reached for the same document, and the playful banter during late-night overtime. Bianca couldn’t ignore the way her heart raced when Jake leaned over her desk, his cologne faint but intoxicating. Jake, on the other hand, loved the way her cheeks turned pink when he teased her. There was something unspoken between them, a magnetic pull they both felt but never addressed—until that night on the rooftop.

Then came an innocent office party. Bianca, the shy new hire, avoided the crowd, seeking solitude on the rooftop. The city lights below were mesmerizing, but she wasn’t alone for long. Jake, the company’s graphic designer, appeared with a bottle of whiskey and a smirk.

“Mind if I join you?” he asked. She nodded, and they shared a drink, trading laughs and stories under the stars. The tension grew with every glance, every accidental touch.

The rooftop’s quiet intimacy took over. Jake leaned in, brushing a strand of hair from her face. She didn’t pull away. The kiss that followed was slow but electric, their hesitance melting under the night sky.

It wasn’t long before his hands explored her waist, her back pressed gently against the cool railing. Her breath hitched as his lips trailed down her neck. The world below blurred as they lost themselves in the moment.

Bianca hesitated for a second. “What if someone comes up?”

Jake smiled, his voice low. “That’s part of the thrill.”

Their bodies pressed closer, but Bianca pulled away for fear of being seen. Jake went out of the party and out of the building, feeling disappointed.

After wandering the streets, he ended up at a dimly lit massage spot. Inside, a soft-spoken therapist guided him to a private room. He paid for a one-hour massage and “extra services.” As her hands moved expertly over his penis, his mind began to drift, letting go of the tension Bianca had left behind. The evening ended with a relief he didn’t find on the rooftop, though the lingering ache in his chest reminded him it wasn’t quite the same.
