Some say, we have a soul that never dies. It just lives on and find another body until the soul is purified and goes back to the Creator. Some say there is heaven and hell. If you’ve been a bad person, your soul will burn in the fires of hell without end. If you’ve been a good person, you will go to Heaven where eternal joy is your reward.
On the other hand, some say this is our only life. When we die, that’s it. All ends. Nothing to look forward to. There’s no such thing as afterlife. There’s no such thing as God or Creator who awaits us. Somehow this makes sense to the rational mind for everyone is undeniably seeing this reality. We witness someone dies then we don’t hear back from them on what they see up there or down there. Maybe we hear or see something from them but it was found out, it’s just all in the making of our minds.
What to believe then? It’s up to you. If you believe the stories of others about supernatural stuffs which you don’t even experience at all and it makes you feel good and comforted, then so be it. But if you believe that only love matters in this world that without it, it’s just empty, then life will be filled with such meaning, for you will do anything to look and discover that kind of love. What is heaven? What is hell? What is reincarnation? What are those things that you don’t even actually experience them at all? What you can experience is love. What you’re experiencing right now is love when you realize, this is the purpose of life: to be happy, to be joyful, to share the fruits of your labor with someone you care and love and then to be loved and taken cared in return, for true love is always naturally reciprocal. It just happens. It’s not obligation. It may seem to be but intrinsically, it’s the natural response of the lover to the beloved. Withholding the response would trouble you and so you will always respond from the commands of your heart.
If there is heaven, if there is hell, or if there is even a God, then it must someone or something that you’re experiencing right now. If hell is described as something fearful, in pain, in guilt in your current situation, then that’s hell.
If heaven is something, for example, you make love to her with all satisfying ecstatic orgasm and you get closer to her while you’re embracing lovingly each other as you want to spend more hours because everything seems not to be enough, then that’s heaven. If heaven is when you simply feel happy while the “child within” is reawakened when you hold each other’s hands wherever you go, then that’s heaven.
